One project finished

There are so many projects we have going on, so I'm happy to say that one is finished. We bought this dinette table several years ago from Barnwood Classics. It's made out of wood from old barns and distressed. All the table needed a fresh coat of wax. We love the table but it was hard to find chairs to match that weren't expensive. We found some inexpensive chairs and after some trial and error finally finished them to match the table. (do not try this at home!) It was a ton of work but we love the finished product. We also bought an old window pane from a flea market and finally put our New Zealand and Australia pictures in it. We changed out some hardware, added some stain and and spent a lot of time cleaning the glass. Here's the dinette now. We think it really suits our kitchen! (Note, this picture is not how it usually looks. As soon as we finished we had to put boosters on the chairs and every week or so there's food and milk that has to be cleaned up from the chairs. But every once in a while it looks like this!)
