For our 5 year anniversary we decided it was time we went away just the two of us. We haven't been out of town without Charleston since he was born. He had a great time with Gammie and Papa. Meanwhile we had a very relaxing time in Blowing Rock. Extra thanks to the Quinn's for letting us enjoy their amazing mountain home. We planned on spending a lot of time in Blowing Rock with late dinners, long hikes and music in the park but after seeing the house we'd be staying in, we changed the plans to make sure we got in as much time as we could relaxing at the house. We read on the porch swing, drank wine on the deck with amazing views and relaxed in the hot tub each night. We also got in a couple small hikes, some window shopping and wonderful meals in town. It was an amazing weekend!
